Lloyd and I agree that this is a masterpiece ! This gem from 1984 is definetly part of Troma's unsung masterpiece series ! Even though it is in Black & White, it has a remarkible story that can entertain anyone !
Edgar Allen is a screen writer who came to Hollywood to sell his movie, only to have horrible luck and a horrible job as a janitor at a cheap hotel.
When he starts writing his horror novel about an ingenious serial killer, the murders start actully happening, leaving him guessing who is committing the murders ! And when the killer is revealed, you wont believe your eyes !
The acting is wonderful, the story is fantastic, the box art is wonderful, and I even think that Paul Bartel had a brief cameo in this ! A must see for every Troma fan !
Description
Terror Firmer: A low budget film crew tries to make some art, only to be stalked by a deranged killer. As the insanity increases and the bodies amass every one asks, "Who will be next? And who is the killer?" You will have to watch to find out. Screamplay: the story of aspiring screenwriter Edgar Allen, who's best attribute is his wild imagination. He imagines scenes so vividly for the murder mystery he is writing that they seem to come to life...and they do!
