    4 out of 5 stars good low-budget movie.......2005-01-09

ok, I'm from London Englan, which may seem weird to some as this dvd only sells in the us and canada, but this is how i got it. I have a friend in Canada who had a birthday, being a movie fan he got flesh freaks for his birthday he didnt watch it. Along came my birthday and he sent it to me now my little life story is over along with the reviw: At the bigining of the film I was relitivly unimpressed I thought the bad acting was apauling but once the film gets going you find the humourous irony quite compelling. So you continue to watch as the film gets to nearing end the gorefest begins zombie chases, eyegouges and a girl who seems to drop her weapon at every possible oppertunity (except the sizors obviously she os well behaived) keep you laughing near.... the middle of your seat although there are sceans in the film that drag on like the nature in belize parts, I found them interesting especially the crazy iguana so cute, anyway I liked this film found it an intresting watch well directed and the 2 short movies in the exrtas were well done also, and the trailer for kill them and eat them looks great even better then the film you are looking at so this dvd is a great package for all you b-movie fans

4 out of 5 stars What's wrong with you one star giving as*holes?.......2005-01-09

Now I admit, i'd hate this movie if I was an idiot who didn't understand irony. Yes this is mega-low budget, and yes the acting sucks so hard it blows, but if you have a sense of humour this film kicks ass. I was given it as a Birthday present from my "thrifty" (cheap-ass) friend a few weeks ago, and was unimpressed... untill I watched it in full. Crazy ass extra long cool documentary style shots of Belize, a place I want to visit now, a few scenes in crappy U of T dormatories and then a bunch of girls gettnig chased around by zombies with a side order of first degree eye gouging. This movie was one laugh making gore trip. In this one part a chick goes to town on this old doctor zombie's face and shaves his skin down to his skull, I laughed so hard I practily shat myself.
Anyway I loved this film, regardless of it's couple of scenes which drag on a bit too long. Next time add a few toppless chicks and you'll have a oscar winning film on your hand.... or not...

1 out of 5 stars if i could rate this zero stars i would........2004-12-27

I am a huge zombie flick fan. in fact, i prefer low budget horror movies over most genres. i was really really excited to watch this movie despite what other reviewers had written. i am like other fans of the genre: give every movie no matter how low budget a chance. this was a mistake. the footage was horribly shot and the acting was horrible and the ancient looking zombies looked like trash. i wanna see fans killing people, not just red liquid splattering on the floor. give me gore. gore isnt just cheap fake blood running down the tiles of a floor, its ripping flesh apart, its decapitation, its not Flesh Freaks. Believe me DO NOT buy this movie. find someone who was stupid enough to buy it and try to watch it. i couldnt even get through the whole movie. that is absurd. the only other movie i couldnt make it all the way through was that David Spade movie "Dickie Roberts." horrible horrible horrible movie.

    4 out of 5 stars homage, rip-off - please. .......2004-07-25

its obvious this movie was meant to be ironic. not to rip off fulci or other classic zombie filmakers/films, nor to pay homage to them. this movie is campy as all out. as the cover suggests.
