An irresistible concept meets computer-generated wonders in Night at the Museum, inspired by a 1993 children's book by Milan Trenc. Ben Stiller stars as Larry Daley, an underachieving inventor waiting for his ship to come in while getting evicted from one apartment after another for lack of funds. Larry's son needs some stability, so the well-meaning ne'er-do-well takes a job as night watchman at New York City's Museum of Natural History. What the soon-to-retire guards (Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Bill Cobbs) don't tell him is that an ancient pharaoh's tablet in the museum causes everything on display to come to life at night. Thus, Larry meets representations of Teddy Roosevelt, Attila the Hun, fire-worshipping cavemen, and Roman Empire soldiers, and learns to cope with an excitable T-Rex and man-eating, ancient animals. The film might have left things at that, but an added story element gives Night at the Museum some extra urgency and excitement, especially for kids: Larry becomes responsible for keeping this nightly miracle going and preventing anything in the museum from dying due to exposure to sunrise. Computer effects, as well as wildly imaginative costumes and makeup, help make the film appeal to the 8-year-old in everyone. Director Shawn Levy (The Pink Panther) works with a hugely talented cast, including Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais, Carla Gugino, and Steve Coogan. --Tom Keogh

Awesome Movie.......2007-09-17
This movie was so funny. Has a bit of a serious tone in it at times but Ben Stiller pulls this off as he does most of his movies. I laughed so hard. Great for the whole family to watch together.
Funny movie, pretty good transfer.......2007-09-14
Pretty entertaining and funny movie. Transfer in general is pretty good, a few artifacts are noted however.
Overall, I would buy it if you want a good laugh for the family.
Great Movie.......2007-09-11
This was a cute story and I loved the special effects. Robin Williams is a scream. My son loves this movie and we've watched it at least 10 times by now!
A little corny but funny........2007-09-11
So I thought Robin Williams would be funnier in this film than expected but hey it was more about Ben Stiller so I guess that makes sense. Anyways it is a good comic relief if you are into something a tad bit corny but has somewhat clean humor to it. Nothing terrible. Makes for a good film night.

The Stephen King Collection, a box set of four films, Graveyard Shift, The Dead Zone, Silver Bullet, and Pet Sematary, is great in that it provides viewers with a full range of King movies, from the truly eerie to the terrible. The set's two finest movies, The Dead Zone, directed by David Cronenberg and starring Christopher Walken, and Pet Sematary--arguably King's finest story adapted to film--both come as Special Collector's Editions, with excellent bonus material, including lengthy interviews with both Stephen King and the directors. Pet Sematary, shot in King's home territory, Maine, tells the story of city slickers Rachel and Louis Creed (Denise Crosby, Dale Midkiff), who move to the country to raise their daughter, Ellen, in peace. They learn that they've relocated onto a trucking thoroughfare, and Ellen consequently loses her pet cat. The plot quickly riffs out into mystical, traumatic territory. Louis's neighbor Jud Crandall takes Louis to ancient Indian burial grounds, where the dead are reanimated. The Creeds's zombie cat sparks this Frankenstein-ian adventure, pitting urban settings against rural, and the horrific against the pastoral. Pet Sematary looks more and more like Hitchcock, thanks to director Mary Lambert's careful attention to detail. The low point in the set is Graveyard Shift, a washed-up story about a cotton factory that's not only infested by carnivorous rats, but also hosts a dragon/pterodactyl. As night-shift employees get continuously munched, Bachman Mills' owner Mr. Warwick is forced to clean up squalid conditions, for which he hires a basement clean-up crew. Crew members are slaughtered as they try to combat their discovered behemoth, and grizzly scenes showing rats, humans, and the beast's head being chewed up in the cotton gin reduce Graveyard Shift to schlock gore. One is reminded of the intricacies involved in adapting books to film. As King has managed to be an integral part of his film projects, there are still successes and failures. All the movies in this set, though, still bear King's trademark, a love for "supernatural deadfall." --Trinie Dalton
Description
With the Stephen King Collection, fans can own 4 of his best films in a spine-tingling, horror-filled 4-disc Collection. Collection includes Pet Semetary SCE, The Dead Zone SCE, Silver Bullet, and Graveyard Shift.
Customer Reviews:
Good Collection of King Movies.......2007-03-19
Certainly, my opinion is subjective because I like this sort of fare, silly and all. "Graveyard Shift" is indeed the weakest one, made entertaining by the bad acting of all involved. "Pet Sematary" is also badly acted, though Fred Gwynne is on hand to save much of it. It's one of King's more mean-spirited plots, and if there was humor involved (as the extras purport), I missed most of it. "Silver Bullet" is an odd film, a rather sweet coming-of-age film with a twist. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. (Even Corey Haim was almost tolerable.) And, of course, the special edition of "The Dead Zone" stands way above the rest. Fine acting and direction help secure its place among the best King films. Save it for last...OK, some are silly and mindless, but I like most horror films for that very reason. This collection has the added benefit of a couple of winners. The widescreen transfer is excellent. The price is good. I recommend it...all 4 are true to King, inasmuch as they all take place in Maine.
Two five star movies, one four star movie, and one stinker........2006-10-10
I give five stars for The Dead Zone and Silver Bullet. I give four stars to Pet Semetary. Zero stars go to Graveyard Shift. All in all, it is a good set that is worth the price for three of the films. Just buy it for The Dead Zone, Silver Bullet, and Pet Semetary.

Sometimes a movie achieves such legendary status that it can't quite live up to its reputation. Plan 9 from Outer Space is not one of these movies. It is just as magnificently terrible as you've heard. Plan 9 is the story of space aliens who try to conquer the Earth through resurrection of the dead. Psychic Criswell narrates ("Future events such as these will affect you in the future!") as police rush through the cemetery, occasionally clipping the cardboard tombstones in their zeal to find the source of the mysterious goings-on. More than just a bad film, Plan 9 is something of a one- stop clearinghouse for poor cinematic techniques: The time shifts whimsically from midnight to afternoon sun, Tor Johnson flails desperately in an attempt to rise from his coffin, and flying saucers zoom past on clearly visible strings. Fading star Bela Lugosi tragically died during filming, but such a small hurdle could not stop writer-producer-director Ed Wood. Lugosi is ingeniously replaced with a man who holds a cape across his face and might as well have "NOT BELA LUGOSI" stamped on his forehead. Plan 9 is so sweetly well- intentioned in both its message and its execution that it's impossible not to love it. And if you don't, well, as Eros says, "You people of Earth are idiots!" --Ali Davis
Description
Plan 9 From Outer Space Cult Director Ed Wood's "cinematic masterpiece" _ and also regarded as one of the worst movies ever made! Plan Nine is so bad it's good. Alien invaders use their dreaded "Plan Nine" to re-animate dead earthlings. They wreak havoc and unleash a host of things bizarre, macabre, horrific, and just plain horrible. Using footage from a Bela Lugosi movie he was unable to finish (due to Lugosi's untimely death), Wood proved again he would and could make a film under any circumstances. Hubcaps on wires doubling for flying saucers, stumbling living dead, concrete visible beneath fake grass, and mattresses visible for actors to fall on are just a few of the unbelievable gaffes and goofs you'll see. The result is a comical and campy spoof of science fiction movies themselves. The cast includes TV horror queen Vampira, a host of zombies, military buffoons, and Lugosi in his last performance. Plan Nine has taken on a legendary status of its own and is a MUST for any serious cult film fan. Original Theatrical Trailer: 2 min. Film: Approx. 80 min.
Bonus Material: The Ed Wood Story Hear the story of "Hollywood's best incompetent director" from the people who knew him best and who starred in the film about him. Johnny Depp, who played Ed, and Martin Landau, who won an Oscar for playing Bela Lugosi, talk about Mr. Wood and his legendary style _ or lack thereof, as well as Lugosi. Dolores Fuller, Wood's wife and star of several of his classics, talks about the man and his methods. Maila Nurmi, Vampira herself, talks about the creation of her persona. Johnny Legend recalls Tor Johnson. And Bela Lugosi, Jr. clues you into some of the mysteries about his father. ORIGINAL TRAILERS from Wood classics include Glen or Glenda, Bride of the Monster, Sinister Urge, The Bride and the Beast, and Plan Nine from Outer Space. Approx. 40 min.
Customer Reviews:
the masterpiece of Ed Wood's career.............2007-09-12
Ed Wood went down in history for being one of the "worst filmmakers of all time." No doubt, PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE was what pushed him toward obtaining that title. It is indeed filled with cardboard sets and equally cardboard acting. It features Bela Lugosi in his last starring role, before his death. The only problem remained that Mr. Lugosi died during filmmaking. What to do, what to do......Well, while some filmmakers would have re-shot the scenes of Lugosi in the graveyard, Wood kept the cuts that remained from the scenes (or should I say SCENE) that Lugosi appeared in and shows them on a loop, during the course of this caper (where alien invasion and the foolishness of humankind is a constant factor), as well as casting an actor baring little or no resemblance to Lugosi with a cape over his face, so as to conceal his true identity as the stand in. What's more, we see Vampira, an actress with a waistline that defies reality (just watch the film....you won't believe it unless you see it for yourself!) cast as--what else--a vampire. Watch this for the phenomenon that it is. This is, for me, the best and most enjoyable B-movie I have ever seen!
The ABSOLUTE WORST MOVIE I've ever seen!.......2007-08-20
But I have to give it 5 stars anyway!
It's hilarious....I can't help but laugh at how awful it is at every conceivable level!
If you watch this movie, knowing in advance that it's Totally Horrible, you'll be able to laugh at it's mediocrity.
I haven't seen other Ed Wood movies yet...but I will.
Also, watch Tim Burton's bio movie on Ed Wood! That's a Great Film... Johnny Depp and Martin Landau are brillant!
Take it easy...
Color All b/w, then trash the original b/w's.......2007-08-07
Yes, my dreams of a wonderful world filled with colorized movies are slowly coming true. Let me be clear, I would much rather see any drab, dull, dated looking b/w feature, be it movie or TV show, in the beautiful wonderfully modern style colorized versions that we can so fortunately see today. I absolutely love Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanie Seasons 1 in the new colorized versions. I wish the same could now be done for all I Love Lucy & The Honeymooners.
As for Plan 9 In Outer Space, I was the first to buy this just because it was colorized and I was therefore the first to be impressed with the wonderful colorization process that is in it's full glory here. Bela Lugosi has never looked so good in beautiful LIVING (but not for long, unfortunately for him) COLOR! I love any b/w movie or TV show in this new wonderful color process. Let's hope the coloring of the drab b/w movie and TV shows continues.
I won't rest till Citizen Kane and Seventh Seal and any other hoidy toidy purist's favorite is beautifully colorized!! Any b/w show or movie can be vastly improved with the new wonderful colorization process. It ain't your Daddy's colorized movies any more. The technology today is perfected and beautifully natural and real looking. If you want to see another great colorized example from the Legend people who colored Plan 9, then buy the Sherlock Holmes movies that they colorized. Beautiful, just beautiful. Color my world and my movies and TV shows too.
Oh, and for you sickening pretenders who claim to prefer the "pure b/w" I proclaim this order too, after colorizing all b/w TV shows and movies the b/w negatives should be destroyed so you b/w pretenders can have something else to howl about. Of course b/w negatives are NOT destroyed, but this hasn't stopped the lying purists to cry that the sky is falling everytime another movie is beautifully colorized.
If b/w is so wonderful, how come every single movie that is in b/w that comes out on DVD has a color picture cover? If b/w is so beautiful why don't they put the dull drab b/w cover pictures on the DVD releases?? It's because people naturally prefer color, it's natural, it's real, it's the preferred way anyone would want to see an image. But a dull b/w cover on a disc is ugly, b/w is automatically dated looking, COLOR sells because COLOR is more attractive. That's why COLORIZATION should not only be applied to the covers of b/w DVDs but to the films themselves of all b/w films and TV shows. The sooner all b/w movies and TV shows are colorized the happier this world will be.
So bad, it's almost good.......2007-07-03
To fully appreciate this movie you must be totally unimpressed with the acting, costumes, sets, et cetera. You have to laugh at the extra cheesy monsters. This will slump below most other cheesy monsters and bad acting you have seen before. After all it received a couple turkey awards. It takes a special patience to sit through this entire movie. I myself don't have it. I can only take a few minutes of it. To me bad is bad, and this movie is bad. If you find bad entertaining then more power to you. I just find bad to be bad which tends to grate on my nerves. So if you find bad to be good, I certainly respect those that can fully appreciate it. It is a true cult SciFi masterpiece turkey of schlocky B movies.
All you of Earth are idiots!.......2007-06-26
A race of aliens are tired of the "stupid, stupid" Earthlings claiming that aliens don't exist, so they concoct a brilliantly evil plan. First, they fly around in their flying saucers that are "shaped like huge cigars" (??) and fiendishly shine lights in people's faces. Second, they raise three random people from the dead, taking care not to let anyone know they are responsible for this (It could blow their cover.) The dead people, acting on the orders of the aliens, wander aimlessly around a graveyard. One of them even goes into a nearby house and horrifies a woman by walking slowly and staring at her. Finally, the aliens cleverly reveal their entire plan to a trio of snoopers who manage to find their ship (It was hidden behind a tree.) They explain to the Earthlings that they fear Earth will one day discover how to make a Solaranite bomb that will explode the sun. Then they explain to the Earthlings exactly how the Solaranite bomb works. This is why they have to destroy us before we destroy them which will ultimately prove to us that they exist... or something. But there's one thing that these highly advanced aliens didn't count on: three of the Earthlings might resist somewhat.
"Plan 9 From Outer Space" is Ed Wood's masterpiece and is considered by most to be the worst film ever made. Even Criswell couldn't have predicted the cult popularity it has gained. Bela Lugosi died shortly after filming began so the majority of his scenes are played by a look-alike who looks nothing like him. The dialogue is awkward and nonsensical, the set looks like it was borrowed from an elementary school play, and the acting makes Keanu Reeves look like Sir Lawrence Olivier. Listing all the continuity errors would take longer than the film's running time. The only thing that could have made the film worse would have been to include Dolores Fuller.
All in all, "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen, a triumph of will over talent.

Good buy.......2007-03-07
If you enjoy documentary ghost stories, you will enjoy this video. Worth the money.
Overpriced.......2005-08-21
Although the material presented is fairly interesting, the price of this DVD is much too high for the length (45 minutes total) of the disc. Something along the line of $9.00 would have been much more reasonable. Three separate "hauntings" are presented. Details of each are shown, followed by efforts to explain the causes. There are no extras....only the basic 45 minute program. Recommend that one wait until this comes to the nearest video rental store or, perhaps, acquire it via Netflix.

Graveyard of Honor Miike style........2007-08-19
This is a remake of the original 1975 classic, and it doesnt disappoint. Unlike the original, it focuses more on Ishikawa's relationship with his heroine addicted girlfriend. Some of the scenes reminded me a bit of Yakuza Demon which Miike made a year later, so if you enjoyed that film, then you should like this one aswell, although this one seems a little more melancholic and definitley more violent. I know I shouldnt really compare this to the original as even Mr. Miike has said he had no intention of rivaling this remake with the original, but I would like to say I thought this version was better. I especially enjoyed how Miike remade the scene where Ishikawa barricades himself in his apartment and has a shootout with the cops. In Miike's version it's more of a comical scene, with Ishikawa firing wildly with a literally an entire arsenal of handguns in nothing but his boxer shorts, and finally running back inside and waving a white shirt while shouting "I give up! I ran out of bullets!"
I would highly recommend this film to any Miike or Yakuza film fan.

Description
This is it! The most popular Atomic Age cult film of the twentieth century. Winner of two Golden Turkey Awards for Worst Picture and Worst Director of All Time, the immortal Edward D. Wood, Jr.! It's all here, the not-so-special effects, aliens in skating skirts zooming around in string-powered flying saucers to implement the ninth plan of Earth's conquest (the first eight failed) with an army of zombies (well, three actually), Vampira, Tor Johnson and Bela Lugosi in his legendary "postmortem" performance (with Ed's chiropractor standing in for Bela after his death). This truly original movie, Ed Wood's "Citizen Kane," is a hymn to all those who have ever tried to create something intelligent and meaningful, only to fail miserably every step of the way.

the masterpiece of Ed Wood's career.............2007-09-12

Bee girls by nature, maybe, but not by cup size. Price Is Right model Anitra Ford anchors this enjoyably sleazy horror movie about women who mate... and kill! Also, they get naked a lot. After a State Department employee meets a mysterious motel death, agent Agar (Marlboro Man William Smith) heads to Peckham, CA, to investigate. Soon, highly unattractive middle-aged men are falling victim to beautiful young women as quickly as they can drop trou. The women look completely normal except that they all wear huge sunglasses even in the dark (hmmm...) and are frequently naked. One could do a tidy thesis on how this 1973 marvel reflected male fears of newly independent women--sexual and career independence seem to lead directly to lesbianism and lethal coitus. (Screenwriter Nicholas Meyer also wrote Fatal Attraction.) But why bother intellectualizing when you can just lie back and let the bad sex puns and horrific '70s soundtrack wash over you? And try not to worry about why that one woman is naked on her motorcycle. --Ali Davis

"Just think about it boys...coming and going at the same time.".......2006-12-01
Graveyard Tramps (1973) aka Invasion of the Bee Girls...I have no idea where the alternate title `Graveyard Tramps' came from, but it's pretty awful in terms of not being relatable to the film since it implies something completely different than what the feature actually is, a really goofy mad scientist type movie (Graveyard Tramps implies to me zombie prostitutes). I will say there is a bit in a graveyard (a short funeral sequence) and plenty of seemingly trampy female characters, but the original title is much more applicable. Directed by Denis Sanders (Shock Treatment), the film stars Anitra Ford (The Big Bird Cage), an original `The Price is Right' model, and William Smith (Any Which Way You Can, Hell Comes to Frogtown), probably best known for his late 1960s/early 1970s motorcycle drive-in flicks Run, Angel, Run (1969), Nam's Angels (1970), and Chrome and Hot Leather (1971). Also appearing is former Playmate of the Year (1968) Victoria Vetri (When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth), Cliff Osmond (Sweet Sugar), Anna Aries (The Omega Man), and Jack Perkins (Night Shift).
Something odd is going down in the small town of Peckham, California, specifically seemingly healthy men are turning up dead due to heart attacks induced by too much copulating (of all the ways to bite it, death between the sheets don't sound all that bad...). Anyway, one of the corpses is a scientist who works at a gooberment funded research facility, so in the name of national security, some uppity ups in Washington send along special agent Neil Agar (Smith) to see what's what. Upon arriving Neil checks in with the local sheriff named Captain Jim Peters (Osmond) before heading out to the research facility and hooking up with a top-heavy blonde scientist named Julie Zorn (Vetri). More bodies begin turning up, and Neil learns most of the scientists entertain themselves during the off hours by swapping wives and such...it's a groovy scene, man...anyway, Neil, unsure if the recent spate of unexplained deaths are due to some form of virulent venereal disease, decides to quarantine the town (the military shows up to block the roads), and one scientist suggests those still among the living practice abstinence until the root cause is determined, which doesn't go down well with the local yokels (apparently the town offers little in the way of leisure activities). The bodies continue to pile up and Neil eventually gets a lead on a leggy scientist named Dr. Susan Harris (Ford), whose work involves something to do with bees. As it turns out, she's been busy creating a legion of comely automaton creatures, complete with black eyeballs, for reasons as yet undisclosed, who have a penchant for shacking up with the local male population and sexing them up to death. The good news is they don't seem all that picky about whom they bed, the downside being whomever they hook up with ends up taking a dirt nap (there's always a catch). Eventually Neil gets the goods on Harris and her Foster Grant sunglasses wearing, honeybee cabal, but it may be too late as Harris and her minions continue their `pollinating' ways...
While this film suffers in a number of different ways (goofy plot, low production values, intermittent storyline), it excels generally in being just a whole lot of fun, especially if you dig on bargain basement science fiction...oh yeah, it also has a whole lot of female nekkidness, something which I wasn't really expecting, but it certainly helped in terms of keeping my attention. Every main female character (along with quite a few minor ones) gets nekkid at some point or other, offering up a generous helping of sleaze, something I can appreciate especially given some of the women appearing in the film. Perhaps the most delectable was Anitra Ford (check out them gams) as at one point she performs a striptease prior to putting it to one lucky, soon to be deceased, male character. There's another scene, one involving the Bee women transforming a recent widow into one of their own, and after the process a number of them start opening their shirts and fondling themselves in almost ritualistic fashion. Whoever cast William Smith in this film deserves some credit as he brings along a lot of experience given his extensive work within the world of low budget films. The man has undeniable appeal and a definite screen presence, enough so to make me wonder why he never really moved into the realm super stardom. Perhaps it was for the best, as talents helped in adding a certain amount of credibility towards any number of low budget features that would have suffered in his absence. As far as the rest of the performers, they were good enough given the material, perhaps a couple who stood out more than most for me being character actor Cliff Osmond (who played the sheriff) and Anitra Ford, who's incredibly beautiful. The latter may have not won any awards for her abilities (in terms of acting), but I did feel there was more to her than just a pretty face and a smoking body. I think another thing that helped this movie a lot was it felt like the filmmakers never really took anything too seriously. The production seems pretty loose, which actually works here, at least in my opinion. And I'll say this, some of the science aspects of the story actually sounded realistic, even if the transformation process was hokey as hell. I did feel the feature could have used a little more action, especially given the fact William Smith was the main, male character, but whatever...
It appears there are a few, different DVD releases by a few, different companies, out there of this film, but the one I have is the one released by Brentwood Home Video. The picture, presented in fullscreen (1.33:1), is shoddy and murky, especially during the scenes that occur at night. The audio, on the other hand, comes across well. There aren't any extras, but there are all of about six chapter stops. I noticed one of the other DVD releases lists prominently on the cover that Claudia Jennings stars in the film, but that's a mistake as she doesn't appear anywhere in the film, as far as I can tell.
Cookieman108
By the way, I really enjoyed end credit sequence, as displayed are visuals of bees flying about some flowers, all to the tune of Also Sprach Zarathustra (Thus Spake Zarathustra), the theme featured in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). It felt fitting in a way I'm unable to describe.
This film deserves a remake!.......2006-09-01
Invasion of the Bee Girls (aka Graveyard Tramps) is one of my favourite sci-fi films from the 1970s. It is a genre-bending film that includes detective fiction elements, feminist overtones, and mild horror schlock. The feminist elements may not be obvious to the casual viewer, but the plot element of housewives turning into bee girls, and then doing a fatal number on the men of the city truly makes it a girl-power movie!
Just another boring '70s movie.......2006-07-04
First off, the name of the movie and the cover art are completely misleading - this has nothing to do with any sort of "Graveyard", and if they wanted to give you an idea of what you'll see inside, they would have put a grainy, washed out picture of a typical '70s housewife on the cover. This is a really boring '70s detective drama about a rash of deaths in a small town. Some FBI guy is called in to investigate. As it turns out, there are some women who, via some genetic cross-breeding that gets only the vaguest of explanations, are now running around having sex with men until they die. The FBI guy figures this out by making a gigantic leap in logic. At the very end there are some sci-fi elements, but that's about it. Oh yeah, there's also a lot of topless women in it - just about every female in the movie gets topless. That's about the only good thing this movie has going for it.
The picture quality is horrible, it looks like it was made from an old worn out video tape. It also looks like whoever filmed it didn't know how to use a camera, as many of the outdoor scenes are completely washed out (the naked girl on the motorcycle looks like a white blob), and many of the indoor scenes are extremely dark. The sound, advertised as Dolby 2.0, is simply mono.
Overall, don't waste your time. It's not "fun" or "cheesy", it's just a crummy '70s flick that is rather boring, and the DVD transfer is terrible.
Great movie, so-so print........2006-04-30
Originally released in most locations under the title INVASION OF THE BEE GIRLS (which is certainly much more appropriate to the storyline), this has always been one of my favorite science-fiction "skin flicks" of the 1970s' (with a fun and raunchy plot). Unfortunately, the print on this DVD is fairly grainy and quite dark, making many of the night scenes almost indecipherable (were those "[...]" I saw or not?), but, then again, what should I expect for less than four bucks? 5 stars for the movie, 1 star for the print = 3 stars.
I WAS FOOLED BY THE DVD ART!.......2006-04-16
Ok though I can't find the actual version of this DVD on amazon.com that I own I'm going to warn you anyway..
So I am at the local pawn shop and I see a DVD titled GRAVEYARD TRAMPS and it's all colored with black and purple HOT TOPIC style fonts and a very attractive goth girl on the front standing in a graveyard.
Now don't get me wrong I knew I wasn't picking up a piece of cinematic gold.. but I did not get what I expected.. I expected a modern cheezy low budget film about maybe zombies or just psycho girls in a graveyard.. GOTH GIRLS in a graveyard.. as the cover art depicted..
I knew it would be low budget I knew it would be [...].. but oh well I have an addiction for sexy young goth women.
So I get home put the DVD in and to my dissapointment I have a 70's cheese fest about naked better homes and garden type housewives sexing men to death..
I have yet to watch it past the first ten minutes.. and that was pretty liquored up.. so I can't judge if this movie is good or not..
maybe I'll get comatose and make it through the whole thing..
I can say the visuals remind me of the original STEPFORD WIVES.
sooooo don't be fooled by stock photos and creepy goth cover art.. I guess that's the moral of this story!

Hollywood Ghosts and Gravesites.......2007-01-11
I gave this movie one star because i didn't like it. It did not have a lot of hauntings and it only talked about dead cleberties. and where you can see there grave site. it was a disappointment.
Good Documentary.......2005-10-21
Unlike so many others, this is not about researchers trying to contact the spirit world. It is a documentary presentation of various stories and sites of hauntings and then you get tours of the gravesites of the stars (of course, Valentino is included). I did enjoy the DVD but did not feel compelled to watch it over and over. I would recommend it to those interested in this type of documentary.
Ok DVD...but not that great.......2004-07-22
I love the DVD and found the Hollywood Ghosts and Gravesites very interesting, however, i think it truly left out a lot of other ghost folklore from CA. Also, I found the DVD lacking in ghosts. It had more gravesites than ghosts in my veiw. However, i liked the DVD but, i think it should had more ghosts in the movie.
Just like Mysteries and Scandles!!!.......2003-10-07
This is a great piece of documentary work! The only thing missing is A.J. Benza!!
Anyone interested in the paranormal or just a fan of Hollywood, this is a MUST see!!
Creepy Old Hollywood.......2003-08-19
I found this documentary, Hollywood Ghosts and Gravesites to have exceeded all my expecations on the subject. The stories
told here are not new, just interesting. Just seeing all these
old Hollywood studios and movie star haunts was worth the cost
of the DVD itself. The longest section of this documentary is
the gravesites segment. This DVD clocks in at about 61 minutes.
Very well done and excellent production values.
Every self respecting star grave hunter should own this DVD.
