          This not only is a great western series with likeable and strong characters, it has amoral in every story with out what people call being "preachy". People thought to be bad take a chaneg of heart. This doesn't happen in every episode of Bonnaza so its not to unrealistic. These episodes bloodline Ben cartwright defnds himself when a local drunk in town trys to kill him and son vows revenge. Escape from Ponderosa men who were in a military prison a woman they turn to because one of the men was a sweet heart, she finds out that people who don't seem worth anything can be worth more.

          If you love westerns good characters and a good moral, this is a must for you.
