Product Description

Wagon train master Bornson ("Death Wish" series, "Murphy's Law") must fight a ruthless gang that controls the supply depot, while at the same time, teaching his helper, Kurt Russell, ("Executive Decision", "Escape from L.A.") the tricks of his trade. Meanwhile, Bronson finds that the waitress at the local inn (Susan Oliver-"Hardly Working", "Tomorrow's Child"), was his old flame, thought killed in a gunfight years earlier. She, in turn, is now married to a man who would like nothing better than to seek revenge against her former boyfriend. When her husband finds out about her past, "Guns of Diablo" builds to an explosive climax.

movie is fine but the picture quality is awful.......2005-12-07

If this DVD was purchased from anywhere else but a US seller, I would have said it was a poorly done pirate copy. The picture is worse than grainy, it is blotchy, the sound is extremely bad. Besides, the summary of the plot provided by Amazon is actually all wrong. Russel in this movie can not be Bronson's hero helper simply for the fact that in the movie he plays a boy of about 12-13 years! They are both much younger in the movie than the cover makes you think.
The DVD that I got was only watchable till the middle of the movie, after that the picture started dissapearing or splittering on the screen. No idea if the problem was with that particular DVD or (which is a possibility) the whole batch was badly done from some old tape.

When a wagon train us detained because of an accident, their guide Linc Murdoch (Charles Bronson) is sent into the nearest town to get supplies. Travelling along with him is young Jamie McPeeters (Lurt Russell) the precocious son of a doctor. Both Jamie and Linc get more than they bargained for in this sleepy little desert town.
