The Fairly Odd Parents is an animated Nickelodeon series about a boy named Timmy and his Fairy Godparents Cosmo and Wanda--a series that Nickelodeon anticipates will someday equal the enormous popularity of SpongeBob SquarePants. In Abra-Catastrophe, it's Timmy's "Fairy-Versary" and Cosmo and Wanda are celebrating Timmy's year-long secrecy about their existence by throwing a party with a guest list that includes Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the iron-pumping Jorgen Von Strangle. Magical gifts abound, but the most precious of all is a cupcake that promises the eater one "rule-free" wish. Timmy's teacher Mr. Crocker, ever obsessed with proving the existence of fairies, senses the presence of great magic and tries to claim the cupcake for himself when Timmy misplaces it. While Timmy tracks the lost cupcake, a common citizen, Bippy the monkey, and even Mr. Crocker manage to steal nibbles of the magical cupcake and end up jeopardizing the entire future of the universe. Maybe is the wittiest more intelligent cartoon I've ever seen since Dexter's Lab. The producers and writers have incredible ideas and their imagination is beyond belief.
Is a must have if you like animation with a very good storytelling.
Best Nick Show Ever!.......2005-08-27
Fairly Oddparents is my favorite because it's got hilarious charectars that are lovable and never get boring like some nick shows on today. (except Jimmy Neutron and Spongebob)I Love Fairly Oddparents! Anyway, this is almost my favorite fairly Oddparents movie. Channel Chasers is my favorite. Abra-Catastrophe has that great movie feel to it like the 3-D opening and camera angles, but still stays true to the Fairly Oddparents feeling as well. The only reason for the 4 star review is cause of the dvd special features and full screen format. I understand that it's a tv movie but they can fix that. I know youre tired of my whining so i'll just say that even though it's in fs you can't let it effect you're love for Fairly Oddparents!!
I'll leave you with the definate recogmendation or however you spell it of this movie.

"Abra-Catastrophe! The Movie" is an entertaining and awesome movie for all ages. It is one of my Fairly OddParents favorites, along with "Channel Chasers" and "School's Out! The Musical."

I can't believe everyone likes this show, it is the most annoying show with pointless stories that are filled with stupidity. I'd go and watch SpongeBob, he's a cool sponge that's hilarious.

Ever since "Fairly Oddparents" came out on Nickelodeon, it has been one of the most amusing cartoons for me to watch. Lately, Nickelodeon has shown this movie and it held my attention for the couple of hours that it was on. A cartoon must be funny if a teenager would willingly watch it. I recommend it for times of boredom.

The Fairly OddParents: Timmy's Top Wishes
Knighty Knight: The Dimmsdale Camelot Festival is so boring, Timmy wishes himself into the REAL Middle Ages.
Where's Wanda?: Timmy enters Cosmo and Wanda (disguised as his pet goldfish with shark fins) in a "Jaws" parody for his school's movie-themed contest. He wins first place, but loses Wanda!
Power Pals: Timmy's treating his friends badly, so they all decide to stop hanging around with him. Now alone, Timmy wishes for new friends…super friends. Only his new superhero pals are too busy saving the day to hang out with him.
Who's Your Daddy?: It's the Father-Son Squirrelly Scout Camping Competition, but Timmy's dad gets called away to work. So Timmy wishes for a replacement dad, and takes turns testing them out.
Boys in the Band: On the night of his birthday, Timmy's parents go to a Chip Skylark concert! Andy, Timmy wishes something bad would happen to Chip. And it does. Chip gets stuck in the Turner's house with Vicky!

This is a perfect gift for any person who likes fairly oddparents!
I got as a gift from my sister when she went to USA, and I loved it a lot...The long episode Abra-Catastrophe is very fun and entertaining, and as it's so long, lots of things happen, so you can watch it over and over and over again and you never get sick of it. And for those times when you don't want to see this long episode, you can watch the Timmy's Top Wishes DVD, it has 7 13-mins episodes, and the ones they selected to include here are very good, my favorite episodes are "Where's Wanda", "Boys In The Band" and "Pipe Down" (one of the 2 bonus episodes).
