Description

BECOMING BULLY-PROOF
Every kid runs into a bully sometime, and our hero Jack is no exception! After being picked on, pushed around, and threatened by Henry the bully, Jack tries self-defense, insults, and even disguises to stop the bullying - but nothing's working. Finally, he comes up with a fail-safe solution - stay home from school forever! But, of course, Trevor and Jack's friend Skye aren't going to let him off so easy. From sketchpad to schoolyard, Trevor teaches Jack ways to handle a bully and the secrets for becoming bully-proof.

TIPS FOR THE TAUNTED
Using humor, original music and a fast-paced storyline, Trevor Romain offers kids practical, easy-to-implement solutions for dealing with their own bully problems such as work on building your confidence, staying calm, giving bullies lots of space, telling an adult and more! And Trevor also encourages kids not to believe myths about bullying such as getting bullied is normal, bullies are always boys, and the best way to handle bullies is to ignore them or fight back.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great for School.......2007-05-13

I am a reading teacher and bullying is a problem at our school. I have shown this video to grades 1-6th all loved it. It was a great way to start talking about and fixing a serious problem. The advice is realistic and approachable. A wonderful resource.

4 out of 5 stars Helpful to kids.......2005-03-22

This video is a great ice-breaker for kids and adults. The show provides excellent methods for showing kids how to deal with bullies. The one thing we must remember is that bullies can be anywhere not just at school. While this story is set at school the points that are made can apply to bullies universally.
