On their quest, the group encounters many challenges, including crossing the mountains of Much-Snowia, and facing the dreaded Lord Scaryman - who seeks the bean for misguided, selfish reasons. This is a great video for the whole family. Great message for little ones and hysterical references to our favorite classic Lord of the Rings, only Veggie Tale style. It is a very clever "tale."

We watch this funny spoof of Lord of the Rings as often for ourselves as for our kids. Much of the humor goes over their heads but is funny time after time for us--Ear-of-Corn, Randalf, Toto Baggypants, Leg-of-Lamb, and of course, the notorious Sporks combine in excellent Veggie style to tell the tale with humor and flair. One of the highlights is the Silly Song at the intermission, where Larry, dressed as Ear-of-Corn, heroic ranger, sings a rock'n'roll song only to be called out by Leg-of-lamb as an Elfish impersonator.

Not to be missed is the heroic added character, the "other elf", whose main contribution to the action is to run up into a tree and bake cookies to appease the angry sporks.

All that you love about Veggie tales and Lord of the Rings in one!

This was another winner from the veggietales video collection! My family loves this video and since it is set to go along with lord of the rings as well, my husband gets really into it. I deffinately would recommend this one!
