While part of the point of the documentary is that these families are as typical as families with male and female parents, it's astonishing how self-possessed and open these teenagers are; having faced prejudice all of their lives, they've had to define themselves in ways most teens take for granted--and the result is a decidedly atypical poise and perception. But perhaps the most striking moment of the documentary comes at the very beginning: As the families come on board for the cruise and find themselves in an environment without judgment, the relief on their faces is palpable. First of all: I am a cruise ship lover - therefore I like to see all details of NORWEGIAN DAWN. But I was more than surprised to see the details of Rosie's Gay Family Cruise - how life can be just with friendly people and friends. I wish I could have been there onboard.

Rosie and Kelli reinforce the truth that families define themselves. I have watched this documentary 3 times and have only become more of a believer that family is family. I must thank them for providing a safe place for children in "non-traditional" families.

Purchased video because we do not have HBO and thought it would be great to watch and also to have when our son gets older. We have not done cruise but would now certainly do so. Excellent to see the level of freedom among our families. Blessings to all of us who are raising children in this world as gay and lesbian folks.

I was so moved after watching this documentary that I bought it and wanted to show it to all my friends and family. My partner and I are already planning to book a Rosie cruise to Mexico in 2008 for our family. We have two little boys that will undoubtably love it as much as we will! This is one of those movies that you are happy to pass on to someone else!

I purchased this DVD for my grandson who is 4. He loves the music and the characters in addition to learning about America by listening to the words of the songs and listening to the person narrate American history in easy to understand words. This is a great DVD for young children both for entertaining and for educational purposes.

My two kids, ages 6 and 8, really enjoy this DVD. A cartoon dog named Stars and a cat named Stripes travel with their guide Rudy the Bald Eagle to see famous landmarks around the U.S. There's lots of classic american music ("Home on the Range", "Yankee Doodle", "Grand Old Flag", etc.) and plenty of trivia for the kids to soak up. A good addition to your collection of family-friendly DVDs!

I have been a garage sale shopper for YEARS, but this DVD taught me how to shop in a whole new way. I bought it because I am interested in garage saling for goods to sell on ebay, and Lynn taught me how to shop for that specific reason. Many great tips on things I just would not have known! I have many works by Lynn Dralle. She is a sharp, savvy, business women and shares all her techniques through her books, dvd, seminars, etc. She appears to be extremely hard working and if you follow her instructional materials you can't help but achieve success. How successful depends on your efforts. But she certainly provides the education.

At first glance you think the video is amateurish - thats at first glance. After a few moments you are involved with Lynn's garage saling. You get to see what she buys and why. Then she shows how to do the research before listing her items to get maximum bids. It's awesome. It's like walking along with a friend to learn the ropes.

I hesitated to buy this because of some of the negative reviews posted here and because I'm not a beginner on eBay, but the price was so reasonable I thought "why not?". I'm so glad I did! I learned a few things from the valuable tips and enjoyed the way the information was presented. I just bought this video and enjoyed watching Lynn go through the step by step process of buying at Garage sales, listing, and taking photos. With a little knowledge and research of your own making you start learning what to look for when finding ebay treasures. This is a great starter for the new ebay seller.
