Loved the video.......2007-09-17
This was one of the first videos we watched prior to adopting our daughter from China. It is informative and gives an accurate representation of our experience. It is a good starting point for your education on Chinese adoption.
You must see this!.......2007-08-16
Every American needs to view this video, whether interested in adopting or not. We, in the States, have no idea what goes on in China and we can condemn mothers for what they have done to their daughters or we can seek to understand how twisted their Confucius-slanted paradigm is leading them into ruin and human atrocities (infanticide and abandonment). The American media seeks to keep us in the dark about other nations and thus our own contentedness keeps us blinded regarding the rest of the globe. Watch this video...then act to help those in need however you can.
China Adoption must see.......2007-05-14
National Geographic did a good job explaining the basics of a Chinese adoption. They captured the emotion of a family on "Gotcha Day". I think I can watch this over and again without losing the thrill of being a part of something so grand.
China's Lost Girls Review.......2007-02-12
This video is wonderful. I feel this offers good insite into the world in China for these children. I only wish it was longer. Be prepared for happy moments, sad moments, etc. Have a box of tissues handy.
Great background for families and friends.......2007-02-12
We shared this with our family in the early stages of our adoption process, and it was an amazing tool for helping them understand more about China, adoption, and our process. Everyone who saw it became huge supporters of our journey. I highly recommend the video for that purpose.
Minor criticism, but my husband and I found one of the parents in the video to be extremely obnoxious and irritating, but that's just our opinion and others may feel differently.
